DIN 933

Product Description

DIN 933 The standard defines fully threaded hex head bolts. These bolts are fully threaded along their entire length and are used for high torque transmission, particularly in metal-to-metal connections, flanged systems, and structural assemblies. They are commonly preferred in the machine manufacturing, automotive, construction, energy, and industrial assembly sectors. They are largely compatible with the ISO 4017 standard; only minor tolerance differences may exist.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Product
Can bolts be used without coating?

Yes, if bolts are made from corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel, they can be used without coating. However, for materials such as carbon steel, electrogalvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing, or other coatings are generally preferred for corrosion protection.

What does it mean to be fully geared?

This means that the entire length of the bolt is threaded. This ensures maximum grip even at short connection distances.

Which nuts are used with this product?

Generally, DIN 934 hex nuts, DIN 985 fiber nuts, or heavy-duty DIN 6915 nuts are used according to project specifications.
