DIN 9021<\/strong>, refers to flat washers with an outer diameter approximately 3 times larger than that of standard washers. The main purpose of this product is to spread the clamping force exerted by the bolt or nut over a much larger surface compared to a standard washer (DIN 125). This prevents crushing and damage to the material, especially when installing soft materials such as wood, plastic, thin sheet metal or composites. It also comes to the rescue when securely sealing holes that have deformed over time or have been drilled too large for the bolt diameter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
